PROCESS OF GETTING A BIRMAN FROM OUR CATTERY
Pricing for kittens is determined by how closely they adhere to breed requirements (how much it looks). Typically, our kittens are priced around 4 weeks old. We don't really start to see their true colors until that point. Birmans typically have distinct patches from birth. Typically, a Birman's entire pattern and color take up to 5 months to develop. They go through a camouflage stage in the first few months of life known as the "fuzzies," which can mask their true color and pattern. They expose their stunning glittering pelt as they shed their fuzzy coats.
Kittens are priced individually $1,200 TO $2,000 depending on colours

We occasionally receive outstanding (display quality) kittens, which typically sell for $2500–3000.
Rarely do we have kittens that are not sold by the time they are 6 months old; in these cases, the price may be lowered.
Neutering will be done on the kittens sold as pets without breeding rights. The TICA Registration Number for these kittens will specify "not for breeding."

DEPOSIT
All of our kittens must be held or placed on a waiting list with a $700.00 deposit. When a buyer verbally accepts a cat or kitten, the seller must receive the deposit within 24 hours. While deposits cannot be refunded, they occasionally can be transferred to another kitten. Though not until the kitten is two months old. If a holding fee is not paid, we won't hold any kittens.
The kitten will be held and not made available to anybody else after a deposit is collected. I will notify those on the waiting list of the happy event and ask them once more if they still want the kitten when the kittens are born by sending them an email or text. The kittens must remain in the cattery until they are 12 or 16 weeks old, at which point all necessary vaccinations and deworming procedures will be performed.
When a kitten reaches the age of 12 weeks, it must be paid for. Unless prior arrangements have been established and both parties have agreed upon them, the kitten must be picked up or shipped no later than 14 weeks of age. Any kitten left alone after reaching the age of 14 weeks will incur a daily boarding fee of $12.00. The kitten will be regarded as abandoned after 15 weeks. The kitten must be sold again or the deposit will be forfeited. I'm sorry to say this, but if you don't have a strong reason for not wanting the kitten right immediately, it makes me wonder how important the kitten is to the potential family it is going to.
